Mini Hudson Pants
My son is a big fan of track pants. That’s all he wants to wear, every… single… day…, except for the ones I make him! (clever boy! 🙂 ) So the Mini Hudson Pants, by True Bias, were a big “must do” on my sewing list. Needless to say, it was a huge hit!
The pattern is simple and easy to follow, with very helpful illustrations. It has a shorts option (perfect for the season ahead!) and an elastic waistband with a string (which I didn’t add). I did a size 8, but because the knit doesn’t have much stretch, I should’ve done a bigger size, to get a more relaxed fit. But I’m quite happy with the result!
He was soooo happy with the pants, that was willing to take as many pictures as I wanted! (the book was his idea!)These look really cool! (sorry for bragging! 😀 ) The knit as a beautiful texture, and those pin stripes remind me of the classic trouser suit. I think I want one for myself! 😉 Someone else wanted to join the fun…… and I couldn’t resist that smile! 😀
