Everyday Blouse by House of Pinheiro

This post contains affiliate links.

This week started with a major pattern release! Rachel (Raquel) from House of Pinheiro designed the Everyday Blouse which the team from the UpCraft pattern design services turned into a beautiful pattern.

I had the chance to be one of the testers. Rachel has an amazing style and it shows through the blouse. Also she’s Brazilian, so it was like testing for one of “your own”.

The blouse has some lovely details that make it special. The exposed side zip gives it an edgy vibe while the gathers on the neckline give it a more romantic style.

The instructions are easy to follow with great illustrations. I always appreciate when the designer takes the time to make a well thought out layout for the instructions. It also has a interactive feature, you can click on the titles on the header and it will redirect you to the correct page. It beats scrolling up and down, looking for the step you’re on.

It ranges sizes XXS to XXL. It’s flattering on most body types due to the darts that shape the bust and elbow.

The fabric I used is a cotton batiste by Atelier Brunette bought at Maçãs d’Amor. It was heaven to sew, specially after my awful experience with silk.

The Everyday Blouse is available only through the UpCraft Club and it’s available as a PDF pattern. It’s on sale, so grab your copy now!
